To expand on Guachi's comment, use Google to look up "Dungeon Geomorphs". You can print a few basic shapes out and then use those individually or in combinations to get a variety of rooms for players to fight in or explore.

I scoured Google images and DeviantArt for those images. If I had access to even higher resolutions of each one, I'm sure I could redo the image files at a higher DPI. Additionally, the original SVGs I used can be opened by the Open Source program Inkscape.... so just about anyone else could...

I wish I could have improved the resolution -- but that was really governed by the original images I snagged. I agree about the personal use thing. It wasn't like I was printing more than one copy of each page for some sort of mass counterfeiting operation. :P I've not considered doing this...

I went to a local (non-chain) print shop to have this done. I've heard both good and bad experiences at Kinkos and similar chains. I'd recommend finding a place and bringing your book in. Tell them what you want done and have them explain how they'd cut things up for you. Decide from there.

4 out of 5 rating for D&D 5th Edition Monster Manual Not bad, but lacks a few things that older editions had in spades: monster treasure types, ecologies, and CR tables to name a few. Artwork is not too bad. Last few pages, however, simply have monsters crammed in without very good presentations.

Sorry that I missed this question. The cost to laser cut things and remove the binding was around $6. The cost to make two spiral bound books was $15, so $21 for everything.
