    Sharks Are Scary!

I don't fear sharks so much since they don't come on land. That's why H.P. Lovecraft invented the land shark, and we've had bloody rituals to become shark god spawn ever since.

    Shadowfell & Feywild

I haven't read 4e yet but from your description it sounds like the Magic: The Gathering worlds of Lorwyn and Shadowmoor. Seriously, Wizards?

    D&D 4E [4e] World of Warcraft Races

I'd personally give the Tauren the WIS bonus over the Orcs, I think they're more of a peaceful and wise race, and the Orcs must have a pretty bad Will modifier to get enslaved by the Burning Legion.

    Music for Evil Cult Summons

Speaking of metal, the chorus of The Vision Bleak - Kutulu! goes a little something like this: [chanting] Ia! Ia! Kutulu ftaghn! Ia! Ry'leh! Kutulu ftaghn! So assuming the demon being summoned is Great Cthulhu, it's the perfect song. ;)

    Robert Lynn Asprin has died!

RIP. I loved Myth Adventures. Maybe now I'll get around to reading Thieves' World in memoriam.

What have you done to Drow in your world?

Were you inspired by horror manga "The Enigma of Amigara Fault" or did you and Junji Ito come up with the same plot device seperately? I'm not sure which is scarier, a DM who uses comics like that as inspiration or one who came up with such a brutal thought themselves!

[Dread] Jenga beat up my dice! My results from the indie horror RPG.

Alright, I apologize if this is in the rulebook, as I haven't purchased it, but how do you guys handle insanity? The rules as written would suggest each character pulling upon seeing a horrific sight, but 5 players all pulling, one after another would topple the tower in no time flat, resulting...

Armor & Coins - please, No.

Some people think they can outsmart me. Maybe. I've yet to see one that can outsmart BULLET!

    Darth Vader: Alignment

From Vader's point of view, the Jedi are chaotic. (I couldn't resist  )

Should Str and Con be one stat?

Yeah, must be the Haunting template buffing up his CON.

Would you roll the d4 if...

They killed 'em as an apprentice level character! And what a fine way to start out your character's career!

Smallest rule, biggest change: Magic Edition

Also consider learning each spell individually from a seperate unspeakable tome. Sanity checks required for learning each new spell from grasping these fundamentally wrong truths, and each new book is an adventure for the whole party! (I mean, the books aren't labelled, and reading that one...

    Reality TV: "D&D Monster Make-Over" ... Nominate a contestant!

I third the darkmantle request (two 1st level characters walk into a dark room and face an unseen menace - great experience, especially since their meta-game knowledge didn't include ol' darkmantle), second the lycanthrope request and toss in a request for a vampire reworked and made fresh. With...

One Monster in a Huge Dungeon

Doesn't the vampire usually have some of the local townsfolk under his thrall? The mummy, the fiendish traps that stop graverobbers? I'd recommend some of those to keep the players on their toes.

    Going back to 3.0 ?

I prefer 3.11 for Workgroups, which is to say I never got around to buying the 3.5 books but glean the 3.5 rules from the books of my group who actually bought the new books. And the SRD, that's also useful.

Clerics - What do you LIKE and DISLIKE?

It looks to me like you could kill or at least wound multibirds with one stone (domains feel like an afterthought, clerics aren't different enough by deity, no clerical abilities/reason to not go PrCs) by doing something along the lines of 1st level - Turn/Rebuke Undead 3rd level - Domain...

Which alignment would kill the frenzied berserker in his sleep? Choose all that apply

I disagree - all BBEGs need a damage sponge to protect them while they cast their long casting time spells. An above average wisdom high int. evil character is willing to take a small risk (after extensively planning to make that risk small) for a large permanent advantage (which is what a...

    Pterra

Both the island and the oasises were created by a Draakhin wizard many years ago, although only Draakhin legends known to few tell this story. As the story goes, the shaman leading one large tribe united all the tribes to fight against the mysterious enemies in times long past. The wizard...
