schedule I was seriously thinking about going, but then began to map out my schedule and cost and realized I will have 4 great days of entertainment but no group to come back to keep that going. I can spend the time and money with the family and come out better in the long run.

In D&D Is there anything mentioned in D&D about medusa blood creating monsters?

I saw a sci-fi show the other day that mentioned that comsuming the blood of a medusa will make a person immune to that medusa's gaze. Is that part of standard medusa mythology?

I am working on building a world where only the elves can be the "major" magic users. Preferred race will be human, and they will have access to all classes except Cleric, Sorcerer and Wizard. Will the player characters be outmatched at the higher levels?

I will not be going. There are some regional card tournaments within the next month and I will be spending my money there. I looked into GenCon too late. Most of the games that I would have wanted to play were already at capacity.
