    Looking for a unarmed fighter class name

    I'm working on a class for my new setting that is similar to a monk, but is not trained at monastery and is not so disciplined. I want a class name that's not so tied to the oriental monk we all know. Any ideas? (better if it is only one word not a 4e-like two-word name)

    A friend of mine came up with this character concept: A Fighter that fights with a shield in each hand... Maybe exotic round shields with a sharp edge, or spiked shields... It does look wierd, but maybe it is character with a very exotic personality. He wanted to take all the cool shield feats...

    Feats for a Sword and Board build

    Hey there! I'm building a Human Knight for a 3.5 Campaign and I was wondering what feats (other than the mounted combat ones) would be better for this character. I intend to play a sword and board guy (longsword plus heavy shield) Any suggestions? I was thinking abbout cleave (and power attack)

    Stupid feat naming: Does it really matter that much?

    First of all: I HATE the feat (and everything else) naming direction they are taking. Golden Wyvern Adept, Dragon Tail cut, Lightning Panther Attack ("I'm Batman" looks cool, though :p ) They are all just silly. But, I think it doesn't really matter. No character knows his abilities are called...

    How does striking an opponent heal your allies?

    I mean, I've seen this mechanic a lot lately. They say it started with the Crusader but I haven't read the whole ToB. I know that you probably need to balance things with this "roles" stuff, so a Cleric doesn't lose actions to heal his buddies, but... How does a hit to my enemy heal my friends...
