I would too, I just finished reading The Happiest Days of Our Lives, and it was a fun read. I grew up just past the start of Star Wars/OD&D era (was more He-man and Transformers), but it was like reading letters from someone you grew up with. Good book.

Thanks for the advice guys. Yeah I could see them getting bumped around... are they all a standard 8x8? I could see taking off that wood table, and making a tray of sorts, with a plexiglass insert for the top to keep everything in place... and protected from errant spills, etc.

I would like to shore up a collection of a few sets... should I buy the newer sets? Or the older ones? I've never used these before, but I'd like to pick some up as I'm using minis in our group and they seem like a good option. Thanks!

Usually when my gaming group has a session, we play soundtracks for background music. We've used alot of movie soundtracks, Conan, Gladiator, LOTR. Well recently when I ran a session for the first time, I found myself only having a videogame soundtrack... for World of Warcraft. I was suprised...

Actually I found it nice to listen to those guys run through Keep on the Shadowfell... I was preparing for my first ever DM session (4E or anything for that matter) and it was helpful to hear what they ran into and whatnot. B-) Wil Wheaton, that should be good!

This makes me really sad, I just printed off Rescue at Rivenroar today to be the first adventure I DM ever... Good luck Dave and the others. Hopefully this economy turns around soon.

Yes it does... also, the price is adjusted when it drops due to their pre-order price guarantee. I had ordered mine in the low 60s, and now it's at the 57 dollar price. And with the rises in gas and food prices, I don't feel bad ordering from Amazon over my LGS. I never was loyal to them...
