It happened 5-6 times when we were playing AD&D. Before expected boss fights, my players asked me to SAVE the game, and were allowed to revert to the save game once per Campaign (1/year). It became less and less frequent with time, and we have never done it since 3.5 times. I guess it has to do...

I see there is a Genesys Dice iOS app for free… is that fully compatible with the StarWars dice?

I bought Wildemount and found it pretty similar to the 4e PoL setting - which wasn’t bad per se. It was a “good for all” setting, that made really easy to roleplay any PH race. Since I’m curious of how other DMs and designers turn their adventures in products I’ll probably buy this one.

In 2010 we spent 1 year adventuring in ravnica using the 3.5 rules. It was one of the best campaigns we had (we roughly followed the events of the Guild War). I ended up writing two mini-settings for 3.5 and 4e (in italian). You can find them here https://alfeimur.com/

My condolences, sad news. I always preferred the Fighting Fantasy books written by Steve Jackson, but Dever's Lone Wolf was so famous even the general public knew about it (aka my parents) and I guess it drove hordes of new players to RPGs.
