Does 5e need its own, original TOMB OF HORRORS?

Tomb of Annihilation is basically this. You play with your beloved characters through a fun exploration adventure and grow attached to them, and then you get to the titular dungeon where you are unceremoniously teleported into a lightless room without oxygen. RIP.

DRAGONS, An Alternate Take on a Classic Foe

These are pretty good. Critical Strikes: Why not add 1-2 extra dice of damage to claw and bite attacks? Huge damage spikes are not that much fun in my opinion. Devour: I use this for pretty much every Huge or larger monster with a bite attack. An ability like this is pretty essential to any...

Any good Eldrich Knight/Arcane Trickster spellbook house rules?

I don't think so. They can't prepare any spells other than their spells known. They are like sorcerers, by default the spells they have memorized are the same as all the spells in their repertoire.

Any good Eldrich Knight/Arcane Trickster spellbook house rules?

I think it would fit the EK & AT thematically if they could learn spells from books, plus it would make a campaign more engaging if they could be a part of the normal magical ecosystem. In a party without a wizard it would give them reasons to want to find ancient libraries of spell lore, get...

To WotC: Don't forget any of the worlds! A list of nearly 100 Official WotC Worlds, Settings, or Timelines - did I miss any?

A lot of the old modules, like I9, have a unique setting. For example N3 Destiny of Kings is set in Dunador. Is that kingdom ever mentioned again? Is is the larger world ever named? Nope.

    Skill Feats In Pathfinder 2

Steal the shoes someone is wearing off their feet? I really wouldn't want to add feats that would turn the game into a joke.

    Dice Rankings - The Poll

The best way to handle d4s is to get some blank white d8s from Chessex and draw 1-4 on them twice with a sharpie.

I will answer 10 questions about Mordenkainen's Tome

I like all this new lore. Gnolls are demons, elves are reincarnated, whatever. Sounds good to me. I don't have to use any of it that I don't want to, and it provides a way for races to actually differ from one another. We don't need books and books full of frog people, smaller frog people, hyena...

I will answer 10 questions about Mordenkainen's Tome

Is the Hall of Concordance a pre-existing place in Planescape lore? There's no mention of it in the guide to Sigil.

Oh cleric what are thou? When most classes can heal...

Cleric is still the only class with Revivify before level 9. Now instead of lack of healing, my players bemoan the lack of revivification when no one wants to play a cleric.

Video review of Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes.

I was looking over the video frame by frame and noticed that demon lords stats have been changed, *every* demon lord has reduced HP, and both Baphomet and Graz'zt had the damage of some attacks reduced. I do think it's ok if the cunning and mobile demon lords like Graz'zt have reduced hp, but...

Archdevil Moloch (Mordenkainen's tome of foes preview from Dragon+)

Are you saying that the books don't let the DM know he can make a world where there is actually only one god, or that they don't let players know they can play a character who only believes in one god in world with a full pantheon?

Weird Orgy comment on DnD Beyond Home Page Video

I don't think this is a big deal. D&D modules have curtains made out of flayed skin, Ras Nsi has a harem, the Atropal is an undead fetus, etc. I don't think kids who play D&D and read the D&D website are going to disturbed by the word orgy. It's one thing to play D&D with young kids, but once...

Archdevil Moloch (Mordenkainen's tome of foes preview from Dragon+)

Moloch doesn't do this. He teleports away (cannot be counterspelled). Either the PCs fight him in an antimagic field, the area of a Forbiddance spell, Mordenkainen’s Private Sanctum or the equivalent, or they will never be able to fight him for more than one round at a time, and every time he...

    D&D 5E [ToA] Hex-crawling and Long Rests

We have been playing 5e for the last three years. We have run wilderness games before and we already know they don't work the way we want them to. I have read through ToA and there is nothing in there that will make 0-2 combat encounters per long rest balanced or interesting to run, and there is...

D&D 5E DnD Beyond - Why is it still so bad?

As a reference it is quite nice. The character creation seems a little clunky though. The natural order should be roll stats > pick race > pick background > pick class > pick bonus feats/skills/languages granted by race. I like the option for homebrew spells and monsters, but they need to...

    D&D 5E [ToA] Hex-crawling and Long Rests

I wouldn't separate recovery of HP and recovery of spells. I tried this before, and in a party with any full caster who knows cure wounds, it won't make a substantial difference and it will simply cause more bookkeeping.
