Professional DMs fundamentally change the game for everyone involved and not for the better. The DMs role becomes that of a paid entertainer rather then a collaborative storyteller. I could never take a penny for running a game and never will.

Does perusing development of a video preclude re-releasing out of print material?

I really enjoyed the novel. Haven’t seen the movie yet. The difference between showing a game of D&D in progress in ET and a few Easter eggs only existing D&D fans will get is a pretty big difference. One that won’t bring new players to our hobby.

How long have they been hinting at new 5E material for a Campaign setting other than Forgotten Realms? Give us something already!

IIRC the original Rules Cyclopedia had but one printing and an errata was never incorporated into available .pdfs. You can find a errata here: https://www.acaeum.com/library/cyclopedia_errata.pdf It would be nice to see this errata incorporated into a new printing. Perhaps if this sells well.
