They want people to play the AL adventures at home... and if they are willing (and thinking about how) to allow player generated homebrew, then I think it will change for the better. And get rid of a majority of the restrictions. Don't you think?

Wondering if this will severely reduce the amount rule restrictions over player races/class options that are part of the rules. Maybe even throw them out the window. Playing an Aarockra Monk at an organized play event...

Looks sort of strange with 4E and Savage World also jumping up that same time period. Except Pathfinder staying steady and dipping in September. Would give a sense of those other games performance if 5e were removed. Sort of sad for Pathfinder though. :(
