WotC Hasbro's Tabletop Is On The Up Again

You get new cards on the collection track until you are pool 3 complete, then you can only get cards through spotlight caches. System is actually way better than it used to be.

D&D General Matt Colville on adventure length

Are you still talking about Rotten Tomatoes? If so, how are they punishing the innocent?

    D&D (2024) What Should D&D 2024 Have Been +

I find I have meaningful choices. Mostly through multiclassing which means there's options to consider at every level, but also Feat/ASI selection, Spell selection, etc...

Thread Not Found (Unless I Log Out)

I've never been able to view threads by people that have me ignored, it's been that way for years. It never really worried me.

    D&D (2024) WotC Fireside Chat: Revised 2024 Player’s Handbook

All this talk of Gandalf has reminded me of something that was sent to me recently by a friend...

WotC Hasbro's Tabletop Is On The Up Again

ahh, cool. The first few months are so much fun as you unlock all the cards. I've been playing for over a year and am still very addicted to the game.

WotC Hasbro's Tabletop Is On The Up Again

It's rough at the moment with all the junk and mill decks, but still one of the best games out there.

The rules may change, but the arguments always stay the same.

D&D General How Do You Feel About Randomness?

I feel like randomness can be good, or it can be bad. That's kinda the point.

D&D (2024) Comeliness and Representation in Recent DnD Art

lol, what does ‘staying at Holiday Inn’ mean? Let’s take a second to look at what you originally said: You didn’t say it was ambiguous or that the GM decides. You said they have no souls. That’s not the case outside your home game. In 2019 Baker clarified that Warforged do, in fact, have...

    D&D General Fighter/wizard

Another option to consider is the Eldritch Knight fighter subclass. Although from memory you have to pick half your spells from invocation/Evocation and you’re a 1/3rd spellcaster, so probably not what you’ve looking for but still thought it worth a mention.

    What's your age group?

I do sometimes wonder why there are so few younger players joining the discussions on these boards given the influx of new people coming into the hobby over the past decade.

Godzilla x Kong : The New Empire | Official Trailer

I didn’t mind it, both Godzilla v Kong and Godzilla x Kong have made Kong the main character which works better than focusing on the humans. But it has meant Godzilla is starting to feel more like a cameo in his own movie. I think I read he has 9 minutes of screen time in the new one.

D&D (2024) Comeliness and Representation in Recent DnD Art

It’s the little details that make playing other species fun. In a game once, we’d beaten a Wyvern in its lair full of shells from hatched eggs. When taking a rest after the battle my Kenku climbed into one of the eggs and curled up for his nap. It’s stuff like that which makes roleplaying fun...

RPG Evolution: The AI DM in Action

For the record Picasso was probably one of the wealthiest (within their own lifetime) artists of the 20th century. *while I’m editing in the brackets to help the sentence read better I want to add my favourite anecdote about Picasso : when eating out he would always pay for the whole table by...

D&D (2024) Comeliness and Representation in Recent DnD Art

Looks like you're wrong about this one too. From Keith's blog: "A Warforged can be healed, and they can even be poisoned, though it’s not easy. Warforged have feelings, and while this is something that’s debated in Eberron itself, the fact is that they have souls; the real mystery is where...
