I have DMGII and Revenge of the Giants

Artwork that shows some of the more interesting battles. In the other 4e adventures they have this all in one section. Thanks :)

I have DMGII and Revenge of the Giants

I really liked that about Dungeon Delve, but I found it to be restricting in a way. I'd start digging for the exact tiles rather than just stay with the spirit of the encounter, make sure I had the same or similar terrain features, and go with it. It makes sense and it's a nice way to tie two...

I have DMGII and Revenge of the Giants

I'm thinking of running Revenge of the Giants in my current campaign, but I don't want to take my party out of the setting I've established (kind of a Waterdeep-esque city). I've been following the previews and I believe that the party headquarters is some kind of forgotten headquarters in the...

    Slow combats

Compared to other editions, I find 4th's combat to be lightning quick. We run combats at around 45-50 minutes. I've tried the suggested intitiative change (people go as a group and take their turns when they want) discussed in this thread, and I must say it does speed things up and discourage...

    Does 4th edition hinder roleplaying?

I ran into this blog 4th Edition Dungeons and Dragons | Felonius.com in my wanderings, and it makes an interesting argument. As I formulate my own reactions I've become curious about the opinions of those who wander these boards. So what do you think? Is there any merit to this?

Running the Well of Demons in Thunderspire Labrynth -Warning Spoilers!

I used an army man standing vertically as a base, then cut torsos, legs etc and glued them diagonally up it. They aren't perfect pillars but they look a bit unsettling. What's fun about them is when you look close you see dogs, firemen, grenades ETC. and though that isn't in theme with the...

Running the Well of Demons in Thunderspire Labrynth -Warning Spoilers!

I'm in the middle of running it even now. It's pretty cool. My group has made it through the ghostly encounter, the hall of introspection, and the bloodwhip room. That was nasty! The skill challenge with the dead adventurers went OK. The nice thing about it is that failure isn't punishing...

H3 Pyramid of Shadows - I Have It!

Arboreans sound awesome. 'Wonder what I'm going to be able to use to represent them. Hey Shroomy, can you post a list of all the monsters please? Looks like it's mini hunting time again.

    H3 Pyramid of Shadows minis?

Yes, I'd like to know about this too. I know that the excerpt preview thingy from the wotc website has 2 carrion crawlers, an ettin, a succubus, and 2 legion devils listed. As far as I know there aren't devil minis, but everything else is doable. Anybody have a full spoiler?
