Anyone know what the upcoming releases for 2e are? All I know are Bestiary 2, Advanced Players Guide, the Absalom Book, (I preordered all three books) the third Adventure Path and Lost OMens Legends. Did anyone hear any spoilers on what is to come beyond that?❓

You have a good point there... :hmm: I know that Lovecraft's work is sometimes called science fiction, but in my book it is clearly horror and has nothing to do with science fiction. Jules Verne was called Science Fiction (and in my book still is), but nowadays his books are called steampunk...

I understand the need for you to advertise your upcoming RPG product, but with all honesty I have no idea why you try to convince me that the books you like are low fantasy. There are dragons in the Game of Thrones, mystical magic, raising the dead, elemental control, several fantasy beasts...

I disagree, Middle earth is full with orcs, hobbits, wizards, ghosts, huge flame demons (what's his name...)... what is Low about that? It is the quintessential High fantasy, it could go higher (Dragonlance comes to my mind), but it is still pretty high (Yeah gandalf is toned down to not be so...

Yeah low fantasy has both meanings. Gritty dark Conanesque. and Earth like, low magic, medieval.

Low magic, low power level. Low on morals is a "dark" fantasy, (or Evil even).

The Burning Wheel, Savage Worlds and Gurps eludes me. I've read everything I could on them and although I see the value, I'm not really convinced. But Mouse Guard I will have to try one-day, hopefully as a player, not a DM/GM. :)

Well I've downloaded the quickstart rules and I'm surprised it is way better than I thought it would be. The art is gorgeous. Congratulate Kristina Toxicpanda and Mihael Vežnaver for me please. :) I really like "With Fire and Sword" from Sienkiewicz or The Good Soldier Švejk by Jaroslav Hašek...
