Please, answer the survey questions as they appear in the following threads
I answered many, but at some point I got bored by those "yes or no" polls. Maybe if we could know what you are trying to figure out with all of them... (Sorry if it looks like trolling.)

I've answered all of these. I think there's something to be said for a poll which forces you to intuit a Yes/No answer.

I hope you'll fill us in on how you're using the info Mark. :)

WtF?!

I think I'm going to make my own and link all the threads I posted in. And I want everyone to reply to them so them dominate the front page.

I never put someone on ignore before...

Wow, what's to be upset about? I don't think Mark is doing this to "dominate the front page."

I do admit I'm curious if all this data is being gathered for a larger purpose, and what that might be.

He may have been joking.

Just curious, actually. Polls on EN World rarely see more than a few hundred participants, so the data is such a small sample of the supposed 40,000 members (and the supposed million plus RPGers worldwide) that it's hard to take it too much to heart. However, it is all very interesting, to me anyway, so I ask away with my little questions and absorb the answers and perspectives as best I can. I'm sure it all influences me and my own decisions in the long run, FWIW. :)

I'm surprised other people haven't added links to their own polls (or polls they have followed) in this thread, too. I think it would be more interesting for everyone if most polls started getting 1,000+ members responding to them. If ten percent of the membership of EN World regularly responded to polls, I'd be really impressed. Anyway, this thread was just an attempt to bring the polls I started (and those of others) to more people's attention.

A few have a few hundred votes and others not as much. I wonder how many of the 40,000 registered members are still active?

Well, in my case it's for a few reasons:

1. I don't know how.

2. The polls I've run (what year did you start playing, how old are you now/were you when you started, what edition do you play, a few others) are now a year or more old and thus buried deep in the dead-thread pile. And I don't have search any more; I'm a bad little enworlder and let my CSA run out.

I like the idea of a master polls list however, though it'd be nice if it could be broken down into categories (demographic polls, playstyle polls, DM polls, etc.)
