Following the Challenges per Class Thread comes the Druid thread
So add ideas to challenge a Druid

from Voadam
1. Druids, a small opening that can be entered by a snake form but not easily by others.

2. druid/ranger something hidden in a cave that happens to now be the den of a mother bear with two cubs. (anybody can combat, but these two can charm or animal empathy the bears into friendliness).

3. High level druid something involving going onto the plane of fire (spells of fire resistance and fire elemental form)

4. druid/wizards with familiar: scouting mission to someplace animals would not be likely noticed as out of place (barbarians war council around a campfire with a tree overhead where a raven might roost unobtrusively)

5. Enemies have fled through a sewer carpetted in rats (they've left no tracks, but the rats know where they've gone - this is also solvable by a gnome).

6. An item needs to be recovered from deep underwater (a Druid can do this without preperation at 5th level).

7. An area is continuously filled with a poisonous cloud (A Druid can pass this without preperation at 9th level).

8. An enemy or item is behind a bramble patch where the brambles have been coated with poison (a strong deterant to anyone who didn't have woodland stride).

9. A hovering platform over a deep chasm has something heavy that needs to be manipulated on it (Druids can Wildshape, transform back into a human, and then Wildshape to get back - can also be solved by a Wizard who knows Fly).

The tingling means it’s working!
10. A race. Nobody can beat a Druid in a magicless overland race.
11. Natural disaster. A druid and his spells would be very valuable during a flood, forest fire, stampede, or other disaster.
12. Battlefield. Druids are the best casters to have when you want to destroy entire armies. A little Contagion, some Soften Earth, Control Weather, Briarwebs & Entangles, Swarms, etc. Weather, disease, and poor supplies have killed far more soldiers than combat has. Add in the Druid's scary direct damage spells and you've got a real army killer.

13. "High Speed Chase". In the case of somebody/thing that a) is faster then you, b) has a head start, or c) moves in a way that makes it difficult to follow (such as brachiating monkies); A Druid/Wizard of high enough level can summon air elementals. Which have a wicked speed, can move through difficult terrain, and "hoover" up creatures one step or more smaller then it. Thus making capture simple and a lot less tiresome for all involved... Except the person/creature trying to get away of course.
