D&D 3E/3.5 3.5 Druids - what to do about them?

Shambler is nice for creating guardians, but is hardly a combat monster of a spell.

Call Lightning Storm is a nice spell for taking out multiple lesser oponents. Its probably better than Cone of Cold at 5th, but then Cone of Cold is crap. And again, direct damage becomes pretty weak pretty quickly.

I'm assuming by 'with it, as always' he means he uses Call Lightning to buff the Shamblers.

Not that I see it as being a Superpower Combo!, though.

Yea it seems like just casting Summon Nature's Ally IX or Elemental Swarm would be preferable.

Shapechange is my favorite spell for a druid. Or Elemental Swarm.
