Bolt of Light
You rise into the air, a paragon of light, and divebomb your foe.
Encounter * Radiant
Move Action Personal
Target: You
Effect: You fly 8 squares. You may then make a charge attack (flying with a speed of 8)as a standard action, which deals +1d6 radiant damage.
Special: The extra damage to the charge changes to +2d6 radiant damage at 11th level, and +4d6 damage at 21st level

Nephilim are an angelically based race. There's two possible stories for Nephilim. The first is that a planar catastrophe melded parts of the Astral Sea with humans, making the Nephilim. The second story is that the Nephilim are lesser angels that were sent by the gods to protect the other races. Regardless of which story is true (the Nephilim invented neither one) the Nephilim keep to themselves in floating fortresses known as Citadels. They're a bit taller than humans, with metallically colored hair and large feathery wings. Nephilim are passionate and intense beings, filled with enormous power. The few races that have chosen to fight them, tieflings chief among them barely lived to regret such a decision.

So guys, what do you think? Any helpful critiques?

I feel the Astral Heritage ability is too good, allowing you to get bonus powers from and divine source seems a bit to much. Perhaps make them able to get an at-will power from a divine source or bonus if they take the multiclass from a divine class.

Another issue is the fly speed as it seems that flying in general comes off with more potential than most things. Maybe it would be better suited as a class power rather than a static ability.

Racial Feats

Heroic Tier

Disconcerting Strike
"Your smite sears into the enemy's soul, taking away his reason for but a moment."
PREREQ: Nephilim, Charisma 13
When you hit with your Bolt of Light power the target is dazed

Speed of the Angels
PREREQ: Nephilim, Strength 13
Add your Strength modifier to the number of squares you may fly with the power of Bolt of Light. This applies to both the initial move action and to the charge action that may proceed it.

Paragon Tier

Angelic Blink
"You've learned to bend time and space to your advantage. Your foes swing at what is no longer there."
PREREQ: Nephilim, Charisma 17
When you shift you may shift two squares instead of one.

Commanding Strike
"As your strike burns into your enemy's mind, he is paralyzed with fear."
PREREQ: Nephilim, Disconcerting Strike, Charisma 17
As Disconcerting Strike, except that the target is stunned.

Halo of Enlightenment
"The gods have strengthened me."
PREREQ: Nephilim, trained in Acrobatics or Athletics, Charisma 17.
You may use your Charisma modifier for your Acrobatics and/or your Athletics checks..
Special: If you are trained in only one of the two skills, you may only replace values with that skill. You may do this if you gain training with the the "untrained" skill.

Epic Tier

Face of the Sun
PREREQ: Nephilim, Strength 21
You may maximize the extra radiant damage dealt in the charge attack Bolt of Light grants.
