An experienced DM, or one with a lot of supplements, that's not a problem, sure. But some one who only has the core books and picks up an adventure for 1e that had that sort of stuff will struggle. Not for long in the age of the internet, though!

Well, that's why you purchase the content put into FG instead of doing it yourself. Even if this was straight 1e running 1e adventures the task of importing ToEE is monumental for most people, specially those with 0 tech background.

For the adventures I'm converting it's done for the DM, all he needs worry about is getting players together.
