I love the rules on Destinies in SWSE, and solemnly stand to encourage them against any destiny-hater. I also love my haters...
Would you guys gimme some feedback as to know if this ruling is properly adjudicated.
This are some notations about some additional Destinies used at the gaming table:
Shatterpoint: Your destiny is to be the point around which galatic events turn. Your decisions will shape the universe one way or another. Examples include: Anakin's role in "bringing balance to the Force," Grand Moff Tarkin's decision to destroy Alderaan (and thus shifting several star systems onto the side of the Rebellion), Talon Karrde's decision to choose a side in the conflict between the New Republic and Grand Admiral Thrawn. Destiny Bonus: For the next 24 hours, you and any allies around you roll 1d8 when spending Force Points vs. the standard 1d6. Destiny Penalty: You receive one fewer die when spending a Force Point. If you only have one die to spend, you do not gain any benefit from spending a Force Point for 24 hours. Destiny Fulfilled: You gain a permanent +1 bonus to any one attribute as well as the 'Strong in the Force' or 'Force Boon' feat.
Last of his Kind: You are the last member of either your civilization or even a biological species, you are liable to manifest some profound Survivor Guilt, and the prospect of avenging your kind may develop into an obsession, however, It is fairly uncommon for such a character to be responsible for the deaths of the rest of their race in a way or another. Very often, it will eventually be revealed that there may be another, or even more survivor; but the decisions that you make will affect the very existence or your kind into the natural order. Example: Yoda, the best-known member of a species whose all known members were very wise and had extraordinary Force potential. He was the Jedi Grand Master during the time of the Galactic Republic for over two centuries and one of the most powerful Jedi in the history of the Order. Master Yoda died from natural causes at the age of exactly 900 standard yearsand his actions influenced galactic history. Destiny Bonus: For the next 24 hours, you and any allies around you rolls 1d8 when spending Force Points vs. the standard 1d6. Destiny Penalty: You lose a force point. Destiny Fulfilled: You gain Gain 3 force points now, and 1 additional force point each level; as well as the 'Strong in the Force' or 'Force Boon' feat.
