Sabynha whirls away from xivorts that she senses move in around her, weaving her deadly dance towards teh hag. Just as she approaches another blue skin leers towards her and she slashes it with her blade... Blood spatters ... Zuri gasps in pain ... Sabynha recoils in horror when she realizes what she's just done.

"Zuri! I'm so sorry!" Her words are dripping with sincerety, even as she reaches out and gently touches the wounded eladrin.

She takes her pain, and in true vistani fashion funnels it into rage, "Curse you, vile hag!"

Sabynha blindly lashes out at Soryth, nicking her. She twirls away from her in the direction of Wat's voice, and using him as a partner in her deadly dance once again, flings herself from him and at Soryth again, just barely slipping her blade through the dazed hag's defences. She then tumbles back through the doors, blade at the ready in a defensive posture.

As the poison slowly begins eating away at Rain, and no sooner than Sabynha has mended the wound she has inflicted upon her eladrin companion, the sword mage stumbles away from the poisonous twig creatures that surround her and slashes her across the back with her own blade. Zuri cries out in anguish once more.

[sblock=Rain's Delusion] Slide to J20 and MBA vs Zuri with CAdv 28 vs AC=hit for 12 dmg

First Post
Rain apologies briefly to Zuri before turning angrily on her foe.

Rain weaves her Aegis of Shielding over the witch Soryth in the hope that it may save her companions from the Dream Queen's direct attacks.

Then, taking a deep breath, Rain twirls her Farbond Spellblade through a complicated Kata, bringing her defence to new heights; suddenly she disappears from sight to re-appear at Sorth's side with a resounding thunderclap that blasts Soryth and blows an adjacent Twig Blight to smithereens. It is not certain, however, if Rain's sword slash strikes true and even it does, 'tis but a scratch.

Powerful as it is, the Twig Blight poison soon looses its potency against the angry Tiefling.

[sblock=actions]As previously noted elsewhere, Rain took 15 damage from enemy attacks landing and 5 poison damage at the start of her turn, leaving her on 32 Hit Points, +0 THP's.

Minor Action: Mark Soryth with Aegis of Shielding.

Aegis of Shielding (Minor Close burst 2 ✦ Arcane)
Target: One creature in burst.
Effect: You mark the target. The target remains marked until you use this power against another target. If you mark other creatures using other powers, the target is still marked. A creature can be subject to only one mark at a time. A new mark supersedes a mark that was already in place. If your marked target makes an attack that does not include you as a target, it takes a -2 penalty to attack rolls. If that attack hits and the marked target is within 10 squares of you, you can use an Immediate Interrupt to reduce the damage dealt by that attack to any one creature by 8 points of damage.

Standard Action: Uses Second Wind for healing surge (afterwards there will be 2 remaining) and 12 HP's, + 1 THP, bringing Rain to 44 Hit Points, + 1 THP. Also, this adds +2 to Rain's Defences until the end of her next turn.

ACTION POINT!

Standard Action: Rain uses Dimensional Thunder to teleport from I20 to H15 and attacks Soryth, who is now granting Combat Advantage - Total to Hit = 19. Potential damage a pissy minimum of 7. If hits, the Sabynha's Song of Savagery will cause +4 extra damage for a total of 11.

Twig Blight 4 is destroyed by the Effect and Soryth is taking 5 ongoing Thunder damage.

Dimensional Thunder (Daily Standard Melee Weapon ✦ Arcane, Teleportation, Thunder, Weapon)
Target: One creature. Effect: Prior to the attack, you teleport 3 squares.
Attack: +10 vs. Fortitude
Hit: 2d8 damage and +5 Thunder damage.
Effect: Each enemy adjacent to you gains ongoing 5 Thunder damage (save ends).

Saving Throw at the end of her turn against Twig Blight poison, including +2 Feat bonus to Saving Throws: 20. Rain successfully saves.

Potential Interrupts: If conditions are correct, Rain may use this:

If an enemy attacks an ally and criticals, then she might just try:

Dimensional Vortex (Encounter, Immediate Interrupt, Ranged 10 Arcane, Implement, Teleportation)
Target: The triggering enemy.
Attack: +7 vs. Will
Trigger: An enemy hits an ally with a melee attack.
Hit: You teleport the target 5 squares. The target then makes its melee attack against a creature that you choose. If no creatures are within the range of the target, then the attack is expended.
Aegis of Shielding: If the target is marked by your Aegis of Shielding power, the target's melee attack deals 3 extra damage.

Guardian's Counter might be used, if it is appropriate and can cause a total miss.

Guardian’s Counter (Encounter Immediate Interrupt Close burst 2 Martial)
Trigger: An ally within 2 squares of you is attacked and you are not included in the attack.
Effect: You and the ally shift 2 squares as a free action, swapping positions. You become the target of the triggering attack in place of the ally. After the attack is resolved, you can make a basic attack against the attacker.

Rain has this to hand, should Soryth or another unleash something nasty at her:

Cape of the Mountebank +1 (Armour, Daily, Immediate Interrupt)
Trigger:Power (Daily, Teleportation): Immediate Interrupt. Trigger: Use this Power when you are hit by an attack.
Effect: Teleport 5 squares and gain Combat Advantage against the attacker until the end of your next turn.
Enhancement: +1 to Fortitude, Reflex and Will.

Then there is this if Rain and an ally are both caught in an attack by a marked foe:

Leather Armour of Aegis Expansion +1 (Property, Encounter, Immediate Interrupt)
Trigger: Power (Encounter): Immediate Interrupt. Trigger: A creature you have marked with your Aegis of Shielding power targets you and at least one of your allies with an attack.
Effect: The damage of the triggering creature's attack damage is reduced by 6.

All else failing, Rain may use Infernal Wrath if no allies are hit and she is.

Infernal Wrath (Encounter Free Close burst 10 ✦ Fire)
Target: The triggering enemy in the burst
Trigger: An enemy within 10 squares of you hits you.
Effect: The target takes 1d6+4 fire damage.

"To me little ones" Soryth purrs. The twigblight seedlings, an extension of her corrupt will, scuttle into flanking positions like drilled soldier and lash out at Rain and Zuri alike. Rain easily deflects the attack, but Zuri, who is all but broken, lacks the strength to even move. The poisoned thorns rip into her flesh and the eladrin rogue faints to the ground. Her body convulses as her soul struggles between life and death.

Soryth lashes out with her staff twice at Rain, a precise blow aimed at the tiefling's temple. Each strike is accompanied with a crackling word of dark magic, hungry to devour all logic and sanity...

"Kill your little friend. Now." So quiet and terrible those words fell. And more terrible when Rain lifted her arm and obediantly hurled her sword at the pixie with deadly precision. Eyes glazed Sir Flib glides towards Rain and drives his icy needle towards her... Rain easily dodges the strike but the situation is growing tense and worrisome.

GM: Zuri takes 5 dmg and 2 ongoing dmg (save ends); She is now dying. She saves vs Death on her turn and the ongoing but not before taking 2 more dmg.

Sir Flibbertigibbet's face contorts with rage and confusion as he is struck by Rain's sword and unable to stop himself from attacking her in return. He briefly meets Rain's gaze, seeing his own feelings reflected there, before focusing again on his opponent. "Your end shall be better than you deserve, crone," he mutters, striking Soryth with a flurry of slashes before spiraling back in a shower of pixie dust.

[sblock=actions]Standard: piercing shard vs Will, Soryth; damage (+Sabynha's bonus)

Sir F becomes invisible to Soryth until the start of his next turn.

Used the 2nd of Sabynha's +4 damage instances.

Wat moves into the door way. A burst of light from his staff washes over the enemies. With the small tree creatures still standing, Wat throws caution to the wind, throwing blast of thunder from his staff as well.

Move:
G16/17 (I assume that is all 1 square.)
Standard: Shining Symbol (T2, T3, Soryth) (1d8+5+3=13, 1d20+7=13 Will vs T2, 1d20+7=Natural 1 vs T3, 1d20+7=25 Will vs Soryth)
Hit: 13 Radiant damage and the target takes a -2 penalty to attack rolls until the end of Wat's next turn.
AP: Thunder of Judgement (T2, T3, Soryth) (1d20+7=26 Fort vs T2, 1d6+7+3=11 thunder, 1d20+7=10 Fort vs T3, 1d6+7+3=14 thunder, 1d20+7=14 Fort vs Soryth, 1d6+7+3=13 thunder)
Provokes from T2.
Hit: Push 6 and daze until the end of Wat's next turn.

OOC: 1 good roll and 2 bad on each attack. That just isn't going to cut it.
