The wagon suddenly stops and Drath comes running back. "Hey! Hold on there! You all didn't think we dragged you all the way out there for nothing, did you? 'Course not! Here's a few coins compensation from Charles. Don't spend it all in one place." Drath hands out bags of 50 gold pieces to everybody. "Oh, and I'll take all that equipment back now, if you please." He pulls out a large brown bag. After all the borrowed stuff has filled the bag, the laden Drath gives another thanks and walks back to the wagon.

I think he just wanted to put it in the narrative, so a total of 350 xp and 50 gp each.
