(Adventure) Heroes of The Vesper Peaks (Uriel judging)

Jaret looks around at the rest of the room. If the servant of Seto moves to uncover whatever is covered, he will look away and shield his eyes for a few seconds.

The liquid essence of fire fascinates him. If he can do so without attracting undue attention from the undead, he will try to examine it more closely.

 

[Jolmo]

Jagos goes after the initiate to see what she discovers.

 

[Creamsteak]

In order for Jared to move to the pool, he would need to come within close proximity with 10 or more zombies.

The essence of fire continues to fascinate Jaret, but he stays well away from the zombies.

 

[CCamfield]

Marl will head in the same direction as the initiate, towards the portion of the room hidden by canvas sheets. However he's spending more time looking around to make sure the group isn't surprised by an attack from an unexpected direction.

 

[Creamsteak]

Grog and Marl: You can feel a chill in the air, despite the raging hot flames at the far side of the room. You can't see it, but you know something is nearby.

Everyone: The Servant of Seto moves to the corner where the canvas sheet is, and with much haste draws a small scythe-like blade and rips the canvas from her highest reach down to the floor. She does this twice, to cut out a large strip perhaps a yard and a half wide. She then grabs it and starts to curl it upwards.

A frosty blue shape seems to be painted onto the wall. As the canvas comes up, the shapes seem to look like letters, many small letters less than an inch in size cover the wall. These blue and white symbols seem to have a specific pattern of colors to them, going from light to dark. Watching carefully, the colors seem to be moving very very slowly across the letters.

Everyone hears a hiss as the runes are exposed for a few seconds.

Jagos: Looking at the letters now, you see that they seem to be releasing steam ever so slightly.

 

[CCamfield]

"It's moving... what is that?"

Marl puts his hand out towards the runes (but not stepping any closer or actually trying to touch them). Is the cold feeling coming from the wall?

 

[Quirhid]

Vanadan moves within arm's reach of the wall without hesitation. "Fascinating..." the elf mutters as he runs his fingers over the runes trying to uncover their meaning.

Jagos looks between Vanadan and the initiate, asking both, "you know what that means?"

Grog shivers slightly and slowly scans the area nearby. He does not stray very far from the Servant of Seto.
