Kunst gives a passive look over Vanadan, a bit smug he is. He taps his staff against the floor, "finding this white wizard seems a good idea, preparing some wet clothes to guard against the gas might help." He'll pull out one of his waterskins, taking a quick drink, he'll wait for the others response.

"Oh, give Kreepo a rest, Vanadan. I don't think that wizard was here before. If he's involved with the foreman and this mess, why did he have to sneak around the mining camp?"

"Breathing cloths sound like a good idea. Was that... man... back there the final result of exposure to ghoul powder? What was he?"

"Yes. He was an undead, nothing more than a zombie. Based on how he died I'd say he was beyond our help," Vanadan replies giving a final look at Kreepto. "But let's continue."

As you ascend into the next level of the cavern, the area is permeated with a rather thick roiling fog of dust and moisture. It has very unusual properties. The mixture of fog is roughly a foot high, but every step kicks the stuff up into the air. It's almost as if the fog is lighter than the air, and is being "pulled" towards the ground by some force other than gravity. It roils around in swirls at points, but is generally very calm.

Up ahead, it is completely dark. Shadowy illumination permeates the next 30 feet of the corridor, which is now only seven and a half feet wide and high. The rock appears to have been torn very quickly, and there are still loose bits of stone throughout the walls and even the ceiling (though the floor is hard to see, it probably has the same properties).

[I need to know about light sources for those without darkvision, and perhaps whether or not your using cover for your breathing; any other notes such as if the group is moving using move-silently or searching the corridor as they go should also be noted.]

Vanadan will stay behind others and cover his breath with the sleeve of his black robe. He wields his crossbow in his right hand. The elf doesn't have a light source but he has low-light vision.

When it becomes obvious that they cannot go on without a lightsource anymore, Jagos lights one of his torches. "No use stumbling around in the dark."

Jagos has taken up a piece of cloth from his pack of thieves tools to cover his mouth and nose, normally used to soak up excessive oil from greasing a window's hinges, it is not too clean. Anything is better than breathing in that dust.

Unless anyone starts rushing ahead, Jagos will walk slowly and silently, looking around for any oddities and listening to any sounds from ahead.

Muttering "Zombies?!??! What next... Wraiths? Vampires?", Marl fashions a makeshift face mask by cutting off part of a sleeve and tying it behind his head with the leather tie from his belt pouch.

Being unable to see in the dark, he'll follow just behind Jagos, with his crossbow ready. He points his crossbow around a lot, obviously jumpy.

Spot +4, Listen +6, Move Silently +9

Since he is unable to see in the dark, Jaret stays close to Jagos and his torch. He takes a bandage from his healer's kit and uses that to fashion a makeshift scarf.

Anyone else need something to help shield their mouth and nose from dust and gases? I have some extra bandages we could use.

Jaret is focused on not getting in the way of those who are stealthier than he is.

Grog nods to Jaret that he would like a bandage to cover his mouth.
