Haaku doesn't hesitate, but neither is he foolhardy. He doesn't rush any of his opponents- instead he moves in, and without sheathing his sword, pulls two javelins from the quiver on his back with his clawed left hand. He throws one, pivots on his heel, and then throws the other. The motion of his overhead throw is oddly smooth, and the throws and the pivot all flow together. Two of the bladelings fall dead, never having left their vessels.

Leather waits for the enraged bladeling to reach the dock before cutting of his approach towards his companions with mighty charge.

As the vicious Bladeling catches sight of Haaku, he makes his move to attack! He leaps over the bow of the ship, one spiked arm cocked back and ready to pierce the desert warrior. However, Leather sees his opportunity to pounce and immediately moves in to strike! The Bladeling sails through the air, just above Leather's longsword, but a backhand swipe from Leather connects, causing the Bladeling to flinch. This flinch takes the form of several rows of spikes elongating enough to pierce Leather's hand, but only causes minor damage. Leather's sword pierces the Bladeling's spiked flesh and interrupts his attack against Haaku, and the Bladeling only barely manages to maneuver himself onto the piles of bodies lining the front of the dock to keep himself from falling into the water. With an aggravated shout, the Bladeling's body ripples with shortening and elongating spikes that threaten to skewer Haaku if he remains in close combat distance with the Bladeling.

While the Bladeling sails through the air, exchanging blows with Leather, the other ships empty their holds of the remaining Goliaths they have on board, which quickly take to the battle with howling charges. Fhangrim manages to evade one of the Goliath's spears, but another spear from the side proves painful as it slips through the Gnoll's defenses and pierces his side. Ilex and her pet, too, are causes serious harm as Goliath spears find their mark against them.

EBB:
- Move: attempts to move to N7, jumping over M6 in the process. When EBB is in M6, he is close enough to Leather to trigger his charge attack, but this unfortunately misses. Leather takes 4 damage when he moves into EBB's aura. Leather's attack marks EBB until the start of Leather's next turn. When EBB moves from M6 to N7, this triggers an Opportunity Attack from Leather, which hits for 9 damage, and halts his movement mid-air for this action. Leather taking an Opportunity Attack against EBB trigger's EBB's Flinch Spike trait (see creature info below) which deals 3 damage to Leather.

- Move: EBB continues his descent, landing in N7.

- Move: moves to F9.

Haaku attacks without hesitation, ignoring the spikes that tear at him. He whirls and, with a gutteral roar, tears through the bladeling with sword and claw- he will not stop until there is no life left in his quarry.

As Haaku tears into the Bladeling, it screams, sending spikes flying in all directions that fly a full fifteen feet away from the bleeding creature. Leather manages not to be hit by a single spike, but Haaku, in such close proximity, is not so lucky, and begins to look more like a voodoo doll than a person with all of the spikes sticking out of him. The intense pain of the spikes causes Haaku to become dizzy, halting his fervent attack sequence.

- EBB is attacked and hit by Jaws of the Wolf and Sohei Flurry for 45 damage (37+8 = 45).
- EBB is still alive, so Haaku uses Off-hand strike, hitting AC 20 for 9 damage.
- This bloodies EBB, triggering Bone Death (see below). This attacks Haaku and Leather, hitting Haaku for 13 damage, but missing Leather.

Haaku is now Dazed (save ends). This interrupts the attack sequence, but gives Haaku a saving throw against Dazed at the end of his turn, which fails.

Haaku has not used his AP.

Bone Death:
When EBB is bloodied or dropped to 0 or less HP, he uses Bone Volley.

Bone Volley (recharge 6):
Close Burst 3; all creatures in the burst; +6 vs Reflex; 2d8+5 damage and target is dazed (save ends).

EBB is now at 38/92 HP and is Bloodied.

OOC: Im at work posting from my phone so I can't roll easily, but it's possible to spend APs while dazed and I'd like to do so to Twin Strike EBB, expending Heroic Effort to either turn a hit to a miss or, if I don't miss, to push my save result to 12.

Haaku grits his teeth and blocks out the pain. While earlier he had been nonchalant about his death, the truth was that he had no intention of dying here, at the hands of a bunch of frothing madmen. Drawing from the depths of his strength, he continues his assault and draws a little more blood- but he doesn't quite have the strength to finish the warrior off. His head reels, and he is forced to take a moment to clear it.
