Meeting the Governor After a couple of days at the tavern, Oceas will note that there are a couple of men that seem to be spending a lot of time watching him. They never make any hostile actions, they just seem to be watching. Four days after Oceas' last conversation with the Governor's secretary, one of the men will approach him in the mid-morning. I will assume for simplicity sake that Tyrm is with Oceas. "Good morning sir, the Governor has a short amount of time to speak with you now. Please accompany me." The man turns and leaves, making his way to the Governor's office. I am also assuming that Oceas and Tyrm will accompany the man. If, for some reason, they do not want to, just ignore the rest of the post and let me know that they are not going to go see the Governor. Upon entering the Governor's office, they are greeted by the secretary. He pauses and looks at Tyrm. "Tyrm, I did not realize you were with this gentleman. Why didn't you tell me you were affiliate with Greerson? It would have saved a great deal of time. Well, nevermind, what is done is done and the governor is not busy at the moment. Please, follow me." The secretary turns and leads Tyrm and Oceas through a door into a large room. Compared to the Keep, the Governor's office is not very large. Nevertheless, his meeting chamber takes up the majority of the building. The room has the feel of a small audience chamber. The stone floor has a complicated pattern carved into it and the walls are adorned with carvings and mosaics. There is a small dais with a wooden chair upon it. The Governor is a stocky man. He sits on the chair with a dour expression. His hair is dark with a couple of gray streaks running through it. At one time, he might have been muscular, but his muscle has given way to flabby flesh. He wears subdued, but clearly well-made clothing. The secretary introduces the two men. "Governor Thwip, may I introduce Oceas and Tyrm, messengers of Lord Tannerson in Greerson." The Governor harumphs, then with a deep, silky voice he says, "I thought you said there was one that wished to see me." "Yes sir, I was mistaken. I apologize for the oversight." The governor waves the apology away. "Yes, yes, I am sure you do. It's matters little though I suppose. You may leave us now. Thank you." The secretary leaves and Governor Thwip eyes the two odd men for a few moments. "So I hear you have dire omens and bad news that you wish to share. Nothing new here in Delve, but it might be prudent to at least hear you out."
