All things Weird & Wonderful

Resurrecting an oldie but a goodie:
Armor of Blood Bath and Beyond This magical suit of plate mail is for all intents and purposes a +3 suit of plate, until the wearer enters combat at which point the cursed suit sends the wearer into a berserk rage, causing them to not only kill everything in sight but the hack and slash it to tiny pieces. The wearer will continue to kill as long a a living being is within a 60' diameter of the armor. While conferring no bonuses to armor class it does convey a +2 to hit +6 to damage while in use. The suit can only be removed by a Remove Curse.

Portable Hole A small cube like device approximately 3" squared. When activated by the command word "Cobain" the box unfolds and a miniature bard troupe plays songs from a really crappy grunge band until the tiny lead singer either throws up on herself, a band or audience member or she falls off the stage rendering herself unconscious. This item is not cursed though you would swear otherwise if you found it.

Illegal Dungeon Mangling Gear (aka Illegal DMG)This item is used by players, I mean characters, to outwit, outfox and otherwise overthrow the good play of the game, I mean outcome of the current adventure. The item resembles a book describing supposedly hidden aspects of a fantasy game, which seems to mimic the characters home world. Often found with the Illegal Manual of Mutilation (aka Illegal MM).

Potable Hole: this device looks like a hoop bracelet, and is often worn as one. However, when a command word is spoken and the hoop is held so that befouled water mixed with anything else can pass through its opening, the water emerges from the other side completely clear and free of contamination. Anything that is not water is removed: all toxins, chemicals, creatures, particulates, minerals or what have you are removed. Even salt is removed, so this can be used to make fresh water from seawater. It will, of course, also ruin things like fruit juices, beers, spirits, soups, and other consumables made largely of water if they pass through the hoop when it is active.

Nobody knows where the materials so removed wind up.

Legend
Bottle of Discharge: any beverage that is stored in this container immediately becomes fouled (or improved) with all the toxins, chemicals, creatures, particulates, minerals and whatever else that has been removed from liquid poured through a Potable Hole. Each Bottle of Discharge is linked to one Potable Hole, though no means exist of establishing which Bottle is linked to which Hole except trial and error.

Medallion of Esp: When touched it shouts "I belong to Esp the Enchanter! Please return for a reward!"

Ring of Indivisibility: The wearer of this ring cannot cut into sections. Any attempt at decapitation, severing a limb or cutting the wearer in half will always leave a tiny bit of indestructible gristle connecting the two pieces. This will probably not save the wearer's life, but may cause some confusion to his killer.

Gauntlets of Go Girl Power: The wearer of these stylish gloves gains 18/00 Strength and a sassy attitude!

Brassiere of Commanding Fire Elementals: These women undergarments are hot stuff...

Potion of Heeling: Causes all canines to obediently follow the imbiber.

Ring of Gin Summoning: Summons a bottle of completely ordinary bottle of non-magical gin that will faithfully serve the wearer of the ring. If the bottle is ever drunk, the ring becomes non-magical.

Rod of Self-Absorption: The user of this cursed rod becomes really into themselves and can think about nothing else.

Eleven Boots: A collection of eleven magical boots. Wearer all eleven at once makes one's feet cozy immune to all magical and non-magical cold, with the right foot being slightly even more immune than the left.

Legend
Statues of speaking: Legend has it that these 2-foot statues were created by the Trickster God in the image of various other gods. An aura of divine magic surrounds each statue, though the precise nature remains unclear. They are commonly found in roadside shrines and minor temples. Linked to each statue is a medallion showing a caricature of the same god. If a person who is wearing the medallion and is within 50 feet of the statue, his or her words appear to emanate from the statue, in an appropriate voice and tone.

Arrows of Tickling: These magic arrows do not penetrate or wound their targets. Instead, they fly around their targets and tickle their hapless victims with their feathers. Tickled targets must make a Will check each round to avoid bursting out in laughter and suffer a -4 penalty on all concentration checks. They suffer a -2 Dex penalty while being tickled due to their lack of focus and uncontrollable giggling. Only a Remove Curse or physical destruction will stop the arrows from tickling a target they have "struck".
