AMA - Nijineko Prismaticpsion, world-builder for 30 years

I find that when I start designing a world it is at one point in it's timeline. Of course, the more that can be added to the history and back story, the more depth & cohesion the world has.

How do you handle or make a world living, breathing and changing? How much history/backstory is needed, and how much is just... too much?
