Round 3

The Shadow reached the hatch where the Silver Streak was trying to wrench a hatch open. “Let me try,” he said. “It’s going to get dark,” he warned.

With a thought, Shadow let darkness envelop them. He felt the dark energy flow into him, felt the ‘push’ of the sun on the sphere of darkness. With strength enhanced, he tried to get a grip on the hatch and yanked on it, trying to pop the latch.

the beam scared the suit's left shoulder, ripping off a layer of armored plating , error messages and alerts blaring in side, a flare of orange energy just too slow to prevent the damage.

Ignoring the damage, Felix Clanged the suit's hands together, apart, then together again with tendrils of energy forming between the clapping hands.
A rectangular slab formed at the giant's rear just before Felix then attempted to have the suit leap onto the newly made plate form that was set to the base of the hatch.

Felix was hurt a bit from the last blast but forming a platform on the robot he lept up to examine it closer. Looking it over he can’t even guess where the lock is on the hatch. It appears to be blocked by grating from the robot’s body itself. Silver Streak flashed past smacking the hatch quickly causing sparks to fly and leaving a dent in the metal. Kitsune drew the small sphere down into her hands. Its’ was still trying to escape but she had a good grip on it with her mind. Then the Shadow produced a sphere of darkness around the hatch and pulling hard heard the metal rip and scream in protest and he pulled it back! He saw what appeared to be a short hallway that opens into a much larger room beyond!!!!

The flying sphere again almost escape from Kitsune telekinetic grip but she held on as it whirled this way and that. The giant robot, having no targets, boomed “ALERT PRIORITY ONE! DELTA THREE INIATIVE! SECONDARY PROTOCAL: DESTORY CENTROPOLIS SQUARE!” On the front of its chest, Princess Starlight saw several tubes open and a barrage of missiles shot forth to slam into a nearby building causing a massive fireball of explosions. The smaller blaster cannons also shot into different buildings spreading more destruction.

24 – Silver Streak
23 – Kitsune
20 – Princess Starlight
19 – The Shadow
15 – Doomsday Robot

[sblock=Rolls]Felix miss his save by one level and is at -1 to future Toughness tests. Make the platform and lept up to it. You can take your standard Action to make a Technology roll to try and open the door but even if you roll a 20 it is not possible to bypass the ‘lock’ (35 not good enough).
Silver Streak attacks the door, Toughness save: 1D20+9 = [11]+9 = 20 vs. 29 (as the door is defenseless you automatically crit). It is -1 to future toughness saves
Kitsune draws the sphere down into her hands this round.
Princess Starlight attacks the Doomsday Robot but it ignores the damage
The Shadow tries to pry the doors open. Normally I would just make this like a Strength damage against the door and it would try and resist with its Toughness, so Toughness save: 1D20+8 = [2]+8 = 10, vs. 29 (again the door is defenseless), failed by 18!!! So yes he opened the door!
NOTE the hatch is open but the Shadow still has Darkness up around it. Unless you can see though it (any super senses will, it only blocks normal sight) you don’t know that it is open until the Shadow’s turn when he can lower the darkness if he wants.

The Flying Sphere tries to escape (vs. your 20), Acrobatics check: 1D20+4 = [15]+4 = 19, fails you still have a hold of it.
The Doomsday robot shots some missiles and three of the guns randomly out to cause some destruction as it can’t attack anyone else.

Round 4

Shadow tossed the wrenched hatch aside, and it clattered to the street below. He let the sphere of darkness fade, allowing the others to see inside to the small hall and larger room on the interior of the robot.

“Hey, kid!” Caleb called down to Princess Starlight. “Up here! Way inside,” he explained befroe ducking into the hatch into the giant robot. He looked around, trying to see what he might do to stop the thing.

The Princess watches the destruction around her and thinks, "It's ignoring me. I just use--"

“Hey, kid!” Caleb called down to Princess Starlight, interrupting her thoughts. “Up here! Way inside,”

Her wings flap and she lifts off, flying around the robot's back and lands in the hatchway. The interior of the robot is larger than she expects. She picks a wall in where she thinks the robots arm might attach to the body and decides to give it a whack. With an exaggerated windup and some gusto, she announces, "Chiromantic Flashing Force" as she strikes the wall of the chamber.

OOC: Check Required roll [roll0] DC 15
Melee attack roll vs Parry [roll1] DC 6

OOC: Using hero point to make check required roll: [roll0] DC 15
6 ranks of damage, 5 penetrating DC 20 vs toughness to save.
Sigh

She manages to nick the wall a bit. She turns away from the Shadow, hoping he won't see her cry.

Felix ducked the suit into the opening before stomping on in and trying to find something impotent: important things, when they belonged to the bad guys, were to be smashed or otherwise ruined, maybe taken... but there would never be a place to use a massive destroy everything robot, sadly.

Felix was mainly looking for anything related to stabilization or locomotion, if he could force the giant machine to halt monument or better yet, fall onto its face, it's ability to cause destruction would be reduced.
He was also keeping an eye out for power and regulation systems. In the former case he would attempt to shut the systems down, then break them if it could be done safely. In the later case, he would much them up as much as he could without risking detonating the as if it were a bomb.

Silver Streak follows the small mech into the bigger mech, keeping his eyes open for any means of shutting down the robots major systems: weapons, movement, control, communications.

Round 4

Shadow saw the Princess try blasting again ineffectually and turn away, hanging her head. He put a hand on her shoulder.

“I don’t think we’re going to beat this thing with sheer brute force and power, kid,” he told her quietly. “We need to fight smart. Let’s take a look around, see if we can’t find something that looks delicate and important. But keep your eyes open for internal defenses.”

Giving Princess’ shoulder a squeeze, Caleb headed off into the dark interior of the robot.

Felix is the first to rush into the room, his size such that he can barely squeeze through the opening to gain access to the room. He quickly glances about at the technology but also opening himself up to the attacks by the readied soldiers inside!!! Multiple laser blasts strike the mecha hero!! Silver Stream races through the shadows and into the room getting just past Felix’s bulky suit to see the soldiers inside unload automatic laser fire!!! Kitsune has a good hold onto the sphere now… did it stop struggling for some reason? Is it vibrating or something now? Princess Starlight smacked the robot again but her powers seemed ineffectual against such a monstrosity! The Shadow called down to her and then went into the robot also, noticing the agents attacking Felix but also noticing two ceiling hatches on the other side of the room!!

The sphere in Kitsune hand ceased attempting to escape her telekinetic grasp suddenly while the doomsday robot started stomping down the street firing missiles and laser cannons into other buildings in MainTown, apparently to simply cause more destruction.

GM: Initiative
38 – Felix
24 – Silver Streak
23 – Kitsune
20 – Princess Starlight
19 – The Shadow
15 – Doomsday Robot

[sblock=Rolls]The crew had Readied actions to attack the first person through, so the four all attack Felix, Attack (multiattack) : 1D20+6 = [18]+6 = 24
1D20+6 = [14]+6 = 20
1D20+6 = [8]+6 = 14
1D20+6 = [15]+6 = 21

All hit, the first attack hit by 3 degrees of success so Felix needs a Toughness save vs. a DC 26 (base +6 damage, +5 for hitting with 3 degrees of success)
The second attack hit with 2 degrees of success so Felix needs a Toughness save vs. a DC 23 (+2 damage for 2 degrees of success)
The third attack hit with 1 degree so Felix needs a Toughness save vs. a DC 21
The last attack hit with 2 degrees of success so Felix needs a Toughness save vs. a DC 23

the 'room' the guards are located behind the different seat/stations (d, c, e, f).
Interior.jpg

Felix (if still up) notice that this room seems to be a secondary command and control area BUT also its main function seems to be to act as a guard post!! You still have an Action (you took your move action) unless you are Staggered or worst by the attacks.
Silver Streak also notices that about the room and notes the 4 guards. He still has his action that he can take this round.
Kitsune is holding the sphere. I am going to say you don’t need a roll anymore if you don’t want to, you have a good enough hold on it. You can take your Action and Move this round still.
Princess Starlight attacks the giant robot again, no affect (very close to though). You still have a Move action left and can move into the robot if you want.
The Shadow moves into the robot and also sees the agents. He notices two hatches on the ceiling of the room and appears to have ladders folding built into them. You still have your Action this round.
Its getting crowed in here!!

The Flying Sphere seems to not be resisting this round. Kitsune can make a Perception check.
The Doomsday robot shots more missiles and minor canons into nearby buildings doing additional property damage. It also moves down the street smashing more of the C-Line elevated rail line and stomping into the ground.
The Doomsday crew have acted this round (with their Ready action).

Those heroes inside the robot who still have actions (maybe Felix, but defiantly Silver Streak and the Shadow) can take them this round.
Then everyone goes again next round. Actions and Rolls.[/sblock]
