Copper Samari - splint mail
Halfling Outrider (maybe) - leather armor
Thayan Knight - spiked fullplate

Archfiends:
Cleric of Lathander (maybe) - chainmail
Paladin of Torm - fullplate
Githyanki (maybe) - leather armor

Out of all of those maybe three total can be put into the "skin" catagory. Maybe.

Not to nitpick or anything, but actually that's an open letter to us on the forum. If you want to send a letter to the design team of D&D miniatures, you're probably better off, well, actually sending it to them.

I dunno if it would work with D&D minis, as they are smaller, but for mage knight, I would alter/swap weapons around using a razor blade knife and super-glue. Only real tricky part is keeping them together 'til the glue dries, but duck tape can help there.

Try modeling clay to brace the mini together.

I'm a realist. They have a file 4 foot tall of people complaining about various things about the miniatures line. I just thought I would vent and see if someone else shared my opinion.
