So as the coronavirus trudges on I’ve decided to run an in-person game for 1 player (tired of doing online games as I sit in front of a computer all day anyway).
This is going to be a prequel ”early years” game for this players character (she loves this character who is a Ranger and a loner anyway so the set up is quite nice). I’m thinking of allowing her two animal companions (more as side kicks rather than companions in the ranger sense in order to give her support.
In my mind this character is Tarzan-like, protecting her territory from unwelcome intruders, rescuing creatures great and small. This players also loves exploration, so I’m wondering how that could fit in? Perhaps she raids ancient sites for treasures to trade for necessities in the local town or with some nearby druid (whose presence she tolerates).
This character‘s parents were murdered 10 years earlier by some undead horde so a run in with them/their leader will likely be the culmination of this little series (of course). She’s going to start at level 3.
Anyway I was wondering if anyone had some short adventure recommendations that might work for this kind of situation.? I’ll also be searching DMs Guild.
