Hi ENworlders!

I thought I'd post a thread to show some of the art from a game jim pinto and myself have just released, George's Children. All proceeds are going to children's charities, so I'm being a bit shameless in my promotion for a good cause.

Here's some of the art from the game:

George's Children is available here: http://www.lulu.com/content/778206
And there's more information here: http://georgeschildren.blogspot.com

If you would like to see more of my art, for companies like Wizards of the Coast, and Games Workshop you can head over to www.jonhodgson.net, or my DA gallery - http://jonhodgson.deviantart.com/

Thanks for dropping by! :)

Here's one I did earlier in the year for the good folks working on the new Imperivm ccg - a gard game set in a graeco-roman setting. The image was to be used as a banner, with the figures, their accompanying pillars and importantly the city behind them all on seperate layers, so that they could be used seperately in promotions and on cards.

This presented its own set of challenges, and was quite a job. The final image is also HUGE - 329 megs, 13500 pixels wide. Thank goodness for a G5 with loads of RAM!

Its Painter and Photoshop.

The whole thing:

The city:

The figures a bit bigger:

I just opened up shop over at Wordpress if anyone is interested: http://jonhodgson.wordpress.com/

Wow, that view of what appears to be ancient Rome from one of the seven hills - that is just awesome.
