Artist Wanted (Needed - even the stick people are afraid)

Ok - after some rudimentary efforts that resulted in badly malformed blobs that may have once been people (somewhere) I have finally been forced to acknowledge the truth. My talents do not lie in the field of drawing. Let me express again how bad I am at this - I cannot draw a circle with the bottom of a soup can.

That said, I would dearly love to have a picture of Toni. I have this image on her in my mind, short, spunky, full of attitude, but I cannot get that image to come out of the end of anything that has to live in my hand.

So I am turning to my fellow members - I have seen some of the character artwork that the members here on the boards have done, and I love it. If someone here would be interested in doing something like that for me, I could offer you...um...my eternal gratitude . Or maybe some cookies. At any rate, we can out something reasonable I am sure.

If you're willing to pay real money, there are three artists I know that do great work. If you're willing to invest in time more than money, I met all of them while on Gaia (www.gaiaonline.com), a fanime community where there's a specific forum for artists who are willing to do commissions. If you go there, look for those that do "OCs" (=> "original characters") which all three of these artists prefer drawing instead of Gaian avatars. But this explains why I know the artists by odd Gaian names... oh, and tell them Cimeara sent you. ^_^

Thank you both for the replies. I also got one email, and thanks to that person as well. I haven't had time to look at the links that you posted Saera, but I will, I promise, as soon as I get more than three seconds to rub together.

And real money might be a consideration, as long as it's within my (rather limited) budget for unnecessary expenditures.

And Alana lovie, *gives the innocent look* can...can you draw me something because you ever so rock at drawing and are the bestest artist ive ever ever know. *inflates ego* and i think you really should sell your stuff *more ego inflating* and all the images youve drawn me have there own special folder all on there own and they needs more pics to make a glorious folder of wonderous images *ego pops* oopp! guess i over did it but seriously hun, you rock at drawing and i would like to have ya do another for me.
