As an IRL David who's run into a lot of other Davids ... I'm not really bothered. It was a popular name once.

We have seen David Sheridan Snr on the show, it isn't Sinclair.Sinclair is Sheridans father!
However, Sinclair takes his middle name from his father. Sinclair is Sheridan's grandson.
