The team behind BG3 is a company that needs to turn a profit to continue making games, but it is also a team of artists. Wood and Astin are actors who can command decent wages, and probably were paid for their work in this promotional video. But also artists, and humans.

Capitalism doesn't always lead to dishonesty and a lack of being genuine.
