Bastion's Airships: Hot Air Balloon?

Does anyone know if Bastion Press's sourcebook Airships can be used for simple hot air balloons? I've wanted to use a balloon in a fantasy game ever since I played Ultima IV in the good ol' days.

It does have rules that allow you to basically construct a hot air balloon. However, it doesn't have such a balloon in it. Still, if you want good rules on how to build and play airships in a campaign, it's definitely worth it. Try going to their website, www.bastionpress.com, and looking at the free airship sample download to get an idea of what it lets you do.

Yeah, it can, actually. You use the regular rules, then apply the Dirigible (semi-rigid) template to it, then buy enough tons of lift to fully lift it off the ground

But for some reason, you can't build Dirigibles that just use gas (or hot air) for lift (says rigid dirigibles have a 75% of total weight limit. Which is odd).

So you can build giant hot air balloons, but no Hindenbergs...
