This is the first Troll Lord Studios productions, a project in which we bring together some of the best writers and mechanics makers in the field of d20, give them a project and let them figure it out.

In this case the writers have astounded us and gone on to produce, what we believe, will be the last word in familiars.

And lest you think this is just for wizards and sorcerers think again. We have covered animal companions and faithful steeds for warriors of all ilks. And for those ever sneaky rougues and prayerful priests - much is to be had. This book is for every player and every DM. A must have.

This sounds really cool. Is it just about familiars? You mention steeds in there as well, so I'm uncertain as to the exact areas this covers. Anything on animal campaions for instance?

There are some of the familiars you are familiar with; those that go with wizards and sorcerers. we have significantly expanded upon this adding a host of new familiars for these classes

we have also added animal companions, faithful friend and stalwart allies for fighters paladins, barbarians and rangers - think war horses, unicorn's etc

these same has been done for rogues and the priestly classes.

All of these are integrated into the d20 rules systems in a very balanced manner with options for the DM so that some rules can be dropped as desired.

there are also new feats, skills, and spells used for acquiring the friends.

I thin k this will be about 170- 180 pages.

We are hoping for a hardback but might go for a softback. Just depends

It should be on the shelves in early December late November or available a little earlier form the Troll Lords head office.
