Eh, good for them, I say. The Transformers films make lots of money for all involved, so they'll keep making them, and they'll keep making them in much the same pattern as they have for four films now - Michael Bay pretty much has the formula for these things perfected by now.

Plus, the busier they keep Michael Bay, the better - at least this way he'll be too busy to work on the eventual "Dungeons & Dragons" movies...

Michael bay would make the best D&D movie ever..

giant dragons and beholders going to war around beautiful women and explosions, and a main character who fights with both sword and spells...

Didnt a Transformers Avengers crossover happen at one point?

They could run a Transformers/GI Joe Universe on Battleships with Avengers guest slots and drop in a few He-Man references tooo. We know theres going to be a Barbie in it...

Shush! You just leaked the plot of Toy Story 4! :)

I think that they'll be made until they are no longer making stupid money. Given the downward trend in domestic earnings for the franchise, that may not take very long. It seems to take around $200M to make one.
They'll just reboot the franchise, and people will start spending money to see it again.
