Anyone disagree with the following?

George is blinking.
Purple worm bites George and hits.
Purple worm successfully grapples with improved grab.
George is pulled into the purple worm's space.
George blinks out.
George blinks back in and gets shunted to the nearest empty space, taking damage along the way.

If this isn't correct, there are some really mean rulings that a GM could make. Assuming this is correct, however, here are some questions to consider:

Since the worm is presumably moving around inside the space it occupies, which space does George actually come back into? This could mean the difference between 1d6 and 2d6 shunting damage, and impact where he gets shunted to.

How far does George fall? :D

Ad Hoc:
When George is grappled by the worm, he is pulled into the nearest square occupied by the worm that is closest to George's original location (shortest path). When he blinks out, he is gone from that square. When he blinks back in, he is put back into the same square from which he blinked out. From there, determine what area the worm occupies (30' space, right?) and move George the shortest distance away into an unoccupied square.

Thus, he should take only 1d6 normally, unless the Worm moved during the round. Then, he might blink back into the middle of the worm's space, and would be shunted out two squares for 2d6.

Rat Bastard DM:
George blinks back in, and is now located inside the stomach of the Worm. Take digestion damage. :D

OK so far. But here's the hairy part:

George blinks back in and gets shunted to the nearest empty space, taking damage along the way.

The shunting is technically only for walking through squares filled with solid objects (walls and such), not for creatures. George, when his turn comes around, should be able to make a 5' step out of the worm's space.

How far does George fall? :D

If he's smart, no distance at all - he goes down as he's moving out of the square.

As for where he 'is', I'd treat it like a rider - he could be in any of the squares he wants to be, because the worm is moving around.
