Blood & Fist (both of them) Questions

Borrowing them from a friend, and I love them. Wonderful job, just some quick questions.

B&F: Page 10, under the Kata Lore, Kata Mastery, and Kata Specialist feats, it says - in the description of the effect - that you must have the Style Focus or the Style Specialist feat in order to use the Kata feats. Now, my friend is assuming that Style Focus and Style Specialist is Kata and Kata Specialist respectively, but I'm not so inclined to agree. Some clarification please?

B&F: Page 31, under the Fajing Signature Maneuver feat, it says "When you use your Inner Strength feat, you gain a bonus....". That's supposed to read Inner Power right? If not, please explain this to me, cause it done gone and got this good ole boy right confuseded. ;)

B&F II (Hong Kong Knights): Page 15-16, under the Leadership Feat, it says you can attract X Followers of Y level, but what are these followers? Heroic or Non-heroic NPCs?

Also, same feat: Under Table 2-2: Leadership Modifiers; Follower-Only Modifiers, it says "Has Home Turf feat +2". What - and where - is the Home Turf feat? I didn't find it in either B&F products.

Okay, I really think that's it. Sorry if this is nitpicky or just plain annoying.

Home Turf is a feat. Gives +1 to hit, and +2 bonus to certain skill checks while in your home area (knowledge: streetwise, navigate, hide, etc).

It's in about all the other RPGO books.

Your friend is correct. Style Focus was renamed Kata and Style Mastery was renamed Kata Mastery.

Yes Fajing should reference Inner Power.

B&F II (Hong Kong Knights): Page 15-16, under the Leadership Feat, it says you can attract X Followers of Y level, but what are these followers? Heroic or Non-heroic NPCs?

Ordinaries for Henchmen.

Also, same feat: Under Table 2-2: Leadership Modifiers; Follower-Only Modifiers, it says "Has Home Turf feat +2". What - and where - is the Home Turf feat? I didn't find it in either B&F products.

Home Turf
You know every nook and cranny of your home
territory, gaining advantages when fighting to defend
Effect: You gain a +1 to hit, and a +2 to the
following skill checks in your home territory: Gather
Information, Hide, Knowledge (streetwise, tactics),
Navigate, Spot, and Survival. This territory may be
an area as large as a small country (Israel, Palestine,
Great Britain). For extremely large countries, a
portion of that country is the character’s home turf
(the state of Texas, and so forth).

Okay, I really think that's it. Sorry if this is nitpicky or just plain annoying.

Not a problem. :)

Jez and Chuck,

Thanks guys. I knew I saw that Home Turf feat somewhere!

Also, glad to see that I can be right once in a while. 'Course I was wrong on the Style Focus/Mastery one. Ah well.

Again, awesome work.

Yeah. All of Chuck's products have an addictive quality... when you buy one, you want to get another... and when you get that other, you want to buy some more... and then more... and then more... pretty soon, you have them all, and you sit shaking in the corner of your game room eagerly awaiting your next fix.
Eventually, Chuck himself comes to visit, and as you sit awaiting his words like the gaming messiah, he tweaks your nose, gives you a wedgie and shouts "GOTCHA!" As he skips gleefully to his computer to give us all our digital crack.

Happily addicted since the first "Vigilance" super hero game.

I'm buying both these babies very soon. Are there any other known "gotchas" in them?

Probably ;)

However, I think most of the "big" issues are done. I am watching these threads and my email and making notes for the next tweak though.

Would this be a good time to mention that the final touches are being put on BNG II Special ops?

And no, I don't want to talk about anything, like the fact that I said that a week ago. We added about 30 Spec Ops NPCs that you can use as drag and drop opponents or allies for your campaign to ease the pain (on the GM anyway)
