One of my players will be playing a gunslinger in an upcoming campaign and to help minimize anyone being overwhelmed with the new classes, I want to make sure I give them some good options.
My initial thought is to go fighter, sharpshooter and recommend they pick from the combat maneuver traditions provided by the sharpshooting traditions feature.
Are the any other options that should be considered that would be fun and viable in terms of classes, subclasses, or combat traditions?
