Calling all PF adventure writers!

The Ordo Draconis fanzine is now statting all adventures for both Dragon Warriors AND Pathfinder.

We are calling for adventure and locality submissions from Pathfinder Fans.

You don't need to know anything about Dragon Warriors to write for us, as we will do all the dual statting.

The default setting for Ordo is The Land of Legend: a sort of mythic medieval world, but without the historical baggage. The beauty of Legend is that is an almost blank canvas: very little of it has been covered in even the most cursory manner.

A writers' guide is available and we would love to hear from anyone who likes writing low-magic and atmospheric Pathfinder scenarios that use both roleplaying and combat to entertain. We are looking for adventures of up to 20,000 words.

We will get your adventure dual statted for Dragon Warriors, illustrated and will also have excellent maps made to accompany your article.

So if you want to see your name on a publication: contact me with your submission idea and we'll see if we can work together.

Dear All,

This is a call for articles for Ordo Draconis Issue 3.

Ordo Draconis is a Dragon Warriors, Pathfinder, and D&D 3.5 based fanzine that it set in the lands of Legend.

see www.draconismag.com and magnumopuspress.com for further details

The issue will focus on the Nomad Khanates and Cornumbria, though we have enough Cornumbrian focussed articles already and so are only soliciting articles on the Khanates. This area is much like medieval Mongolia and so articles should take account of this.

Our aim for issue 3 is to build a vision of the vast-steppe that does not contradict anything in the core rulebook but also does not just re-hash the obvious 'Mongol hordes' type tropes. We want to build a unique vision of the Khanates, much like Krarth is a unique take on Russia and other cold lands.Since the steppe is so vast, there is the chance to look at fringe areas that are on the borders of where the steppe touches Kaikahuru, Asmulia, The trackless Ooze, the Mountains of Harogarn and Yamato, so the issue can be extremely diverse.

Articles should focus on new classes, Locations, Monsters and Adventures set in the Khanates. We would particularly welcome submissions that appeal to players of DW, as well as GMs. There is no need to dual stat your submissions; we can do this for you. We will also ensure your submission, if published, is supported by cartography and art to complement your work.

Please contact me at s.k.dove@bham.ac.uk for further information. All submissions should be preceded by a pre-submission enquiry to me.

regards

Steve
