As I recall, they DID have some modern GIs in the game, but you're right- no branded ones...and that is definitely a missed trick.

The final Heroscape expansion arrived via Fedex today.

With any luck, it won't be the last. :)

I do know that Wizards/Hasbro has been willing to license out their properties in the past (e.g. ASL, Titan), and that there's been one miniature franchise that has come back with new owners (HeroClix).

So, let's hope this happens for the HeroScape fans out there.

Speaking of which, why didn't they make a G.I. Joe Heroscape set? That seems like a no-brainer.

GI Joe, Transformers, Marvel superhearoes (granted they did that one and it was a stinker), Star Wars, etc. They DID drop the ball on the possibilities of Heroscape. That game represented so much unrealized potential. It just floundered for no reason other than an apparent lack of interest on Hasbro's part (later, WotC's) to do something meaningful with it.
