This is my first attempt at a custom feat. What do you all think:

Swordcaster
You are skilled at blending your spells with melee attacks

Prerequistes: Combat Casting, Base attack 6+, Ability to cast 2nd level spells

Benefits: When using a full-attack option, you may cast a spell and then make any additional melee attacks granted by a high base attack bonus. The spell itself uses the highest base attack bonus for the round. For example, a spellcaster with a base attack bonus of +11/+6+/+1 may cast a spell using the +11 attack bonus and then make two melee attacks at +6 and +1 respectively. The caster may make the melee attacks first before casting the spell (but the same bonuses will apply). Casting the spell and making the melee attacks use all the other normal rules. Feats that grant additional melee attacks may not be used in conjunction with this feat. Since casting a spell usually requires a free hand, the caster may not fight with 2 weapons unless he is able to bypass this requirement (such as a Still spell). If so, the off-hand weapon uses the highest base attack allowed by this feat (+6 in this example), with all the normal penalties for fighting with 2 weapons.
Alternatively, the caster may opt to concentrate on an already active spell instead of casting a new one.



Bowcaster
Same as "swordcaster" but it applies to ranged attacks only.
