Chillborn Zombie - Ice Reaper

How exactly does the Chillborn's Ice Reaper power work? The text just says:

"The chillborn zombie deals an extra 5 cold damage to an immobilized creature."

Does that mean on a successful attack, or with any damage? Or is this just referring to the automatic cold damage? The Tactics session says, "If it succeeds in immobilizing the target with its slam attack, the chillborn zombie uses ice reaper on its next turn." That suggests that this is a power it has to activate, but there's no action type.

So if the zombie immobilizes someone, does it then:

1. Do 10 damage with its cold aura, and get a regular attack, which does 5 extra cold damage if it hits?
2. Do 5 damage with its cold aura, and get a regular attack, which does 5 extra cold damage if it hits?
3. Do 5 damage with its cold aura and can use Ice Reaper for an automatic 5 cold damage instead of attacking?

Reading its Slam ability entry should clarify this, though it seems weird. It hits with Slam, immobilizing its target and doing ongoing 5 Cold damage.

I suppose the extra entry (Ice Reaper) is to state that the trigger is a target being immobilized. Hence if some other creature immobilizes the target, it would do ongoing 5 Cold damage if it hit with any ol' attack.

... that said, it doesn't have any other attack except Slam and to explode.

The correct answer is number 2.
Ice reaper means that if the zombie hits an immobilized enemy with an attack, it deals an extra 5 cold damage. I'd say that it also works with the death explosion, but i'm not 100% sure on this one.
