Clarification about daily powers

When you have multiple daily powers you can use each one once a day, correct? You don't have to choose which one you want to use at the beginning of the day? What about wizards with the expanded spellbook feat?

A level 9 character would normally know 3 daily spells. Since a wizard starts with an extra daily, it would have 4. If a player took the expanded spellbook feat, would that feat allow the wizard an extra 3 daily spells? So then a level 9 wizard with the expanded spellbook feat would know 7 daily spells but could still only cast 3 a day? Is this all correct or am I completely off? Sorry if this seems like a simple question, but there was some confusion with the wizard as to how many daily spells he really got and could use.

No, you have misunderstood something.

A level 9 character has 3 daily. The wizard would have 6, 9 with expanded spellbook. Each morning, any character chooses a lvl 1, 5 and 9 daily power (except that only the wizard has more to chose from).

Actually, a normal level 9 wizard would know 6 Dailys--2 level 1s, 2 level 5s, and 2 level 9s. Expanded Spellbook would make it so they know 9 daily spells, 3 of each level. But after an extended rest, a Wizard picks 1 daily spell s/he knows of each available level to have access to for that day. So even though a level 9 Wizard with Expanded Spellbook knows 9 daily spells, on any given day they can only cast 3--1 level 1, 1 level 5, and 1 level 9, chosen when the day began. Not counting Utility spells that happen to be dailies, of course.

Well just to clarify, the wizard is the only class who gets to choose his dailies each morning. Every other class is locked into their daily powers and can only change them on level up.
