Cleave and Charge Question

If you cleave on a charge attack, is it still charging?

Just got this weird image of a knight with all the mounted feats riding in, poking 6 or 7 goblins with his lance (all for x3 damage), and then riding off with Ride-by Attack.

On a related note, if a horse is large, and takes up four squares, what squares can a knight attack into? Five feet out from his horse's area?

Thanks for the help.

Yes you can cleave on a charge, but note that (unless you have the supreme cleave class ability from some prestige classes) you can´t move beteen attacks.

IIRC, the rider is and can attack from any horse square (think as if the horse were continuously turning in place)

Cleave
If you deal a creature enough damgae to make it drop... you get an immediate, extra melee attack against another creature within reach. You cannot take a 5-foot step before makin gthis extar attack. The extra attack is with the same weapon and at the same bonus as the attack that dropped the previous creature...

So even though the charge has ended would you still get that +2 from charging?

Also:
Attacking on a charge:...Even if you have extra attacks, such as from having a high enough base attack bonus or from using multiple weapons you only get to make one attack during a charge.

Would this text prompt you to think that no extra attacks even ones granted by cleave would be allowed?

Finally one last charge question, can you draw a weapon as part of a charge? Charge is a Full-Round action that involves moving, but drawing a weapon is part of a move action...

If you're flanking the first target but not the second, do you get +2?

If you're on higher ground than the first opponent but not the second, do you get the +1?

If the first opponent is a goblin and the second isn't, does the extra +2 for your goblin-bane sword apply?

Since your Invisibility spell expires when you attack the first opponent, do you still get the +2 against the second?

Since your True Strike spell discharges when you attack the first opponent, do you still get the +20 against the second?

"At the same bonus" serves to distinguish Cleave from feats or abilities that provide an extra attack "at your highest base attack bonus", like Rapid Shot.

If you have three attacks with BAB of +11/+6/+1 (with appropriate modifiers), and drop an opponent with the second attack, then your Cleave attack is made at +6 (with appropriate modifiers). The modifiers might be different against the second opponent than they were against the first.

The Cleave attack isn't made during the charge. It's made after.

Right. So no. Take Quick Draw.

Actually, given this text in the description of a charge:

"Even if you have extra attacks, such as from having a high enough base attack bonus or from using multiple weapons, you only get to make one attack during a charge."

It would seem you cannot cleave during a charge.

Again, once you've made your single melee attack, you're no longer charging. The Cleave attack, which occurs after the initial attack, is therefore not made 'during a charge' at all.
