Elawyn Leafscale, Enchanting Serpent of the Seven Lakes, Queen of Autumn

She rules a richly colored land of temperate forests where the trees perpetually bloom their fall colors and lose new leaves in a matter of weeks. Lakes and streams dot her realm and the water is refreshing and comfortable to swim in, but it carries a hint of the winter chill. Elawyn's private domain isn't a castle but a cathedral sized clearing in a grove of the eldest trees that grow in her realm.

Elawyn herself is a stunning beauty with a healthy summer tan and long raven colored tresses. She wears a gown of gossamer strips of cloth that are all the colors of the fall leaves and over that a cape of brown and bronze leaves layered to look like scales. Elawyn Leafscale earns her name because she can transform into a large serpent. She often enjoys sunning herself on boulders in the waining hours of the autumn days before the cool dusk sets in.

Off topic: I don't suppose anyone has a few links to the "Collaborative Setting" threads saved? Or perhaps remember the time frame so I could go back and enjoy them? I'd appreciate it!

The Spriggan Gormloch usurped the court of the Autumn Queen about 90 years ago; he has only to remain upon the throne another 9 years and a day before his userpation becomes lawful, by the Laws of the Fae.

Where Elawyn Leafscale has been this ninety years remains a mystery, though several times Jacks have been sent on quests to find her. Possibly the goblins know...

The Order of Johannes are a group of Dun Knights sworn to protect mortals against the powers of the unseen (be they Lycanthorpe, Fae, Ghost or Spirit). Their crest features a silver ax and a Savrael tree earning them the nickname of 'The Wood-Cuters'

The Order of Johannes originated from the minor fiefdoms on the western border of Greatheart Forest. With the might of the unseen waning in these countries, once weak communities have banded together, and the princelings are forming a single, mortal realm of sizeable proportions. The Swordthane, a military commander of the Order of Johannes, has pledged his support for the newly formed realm. It is rumored that the mortals wish to marry siblings from two of the more powerful fiefdoms to form the foundation of a royal lineage.

(Is Order of Johannes as a name fine with everyone?)

BROWNIE RACIAL TRAITS
• +2 Dexterity, +2 Luck, -2 Intelligence, -2 Wisdom, -2 Perception
• Diminutive: As a diminutive creature brownies gain a +3 bonus to their Armor Class,
a +3 size bonus to attack rolls, a +12 bonus on Hide checks, but they must use
smaller weapons than humans use, and their lifting and carrying limits are one
quarter that of a Medium Character.
• Brownies base speed is 10 ft.
• Low-light vision: A brownie can see twice as far as a human in areas of starlight, moonlight, torchlight and similar conditions of poor illumination. He retains the ability to distinguish color and detail under these conditions.
• +2 racial bonus to Craft (any one), Listen, Move Silently, and Survival Checks.
• +4 bonus to Bluff checks, Gamble (any one) checks, and Open Lock checks.
• Brownies gain a +1 racial bonus to all saving throws, and a +2 bonus to saves verses fear spells and effects.
• Weapon Proficiencies: brownies are proficient with all simple weapons.
• Immunities: As a fey creature, brownies are immune to mind effecting spells and effects, polymorph, and they gain a elemental resistance of 10 to cold, fire, acid, and sonic damage. They are, however, vulnerable to the effects of Cold Iron, which they take double damage from, and brownies are additionally affected with a strong distaste for the smell of garlic, which drives them away.
• Bag o’ Pixie Dust: Each brownie has a small pouch of pixie dust with which they have been known to use as a charming agent against the larger folk of the world. A pinch of pixie dust consumes 1 full dose of the brownies pouch, and works as per the charm person spell. The pouch refills itself after a single 24 hour period. The charmed creature must be a humanoid of medium size or smaller, and gains a Will Save DC 15. A failure means that the target of the dust is enamored with the first person she sees who is of the same race or kind, or if she would normally be attracted. The charm effect wears off after a few hours but the enamored effect is permanent.
• Automatic Languages: Sylvan, and Common (Cymru); Bonus languages Any (with the exception of restricted languages, for more information on restricted languages ask your DM)
• Favored Class: Bard: A multiclass brownie’s bard class levels do not count when determining whether he takes an experience point penalty for multiclassing (See XP for Multiclass Characters page 60 of the PHB) The lackadaisical life of Brownies lends themselves wholly to the lifestyle of the Bard, for they are attracted to the joys of life, and tales of bravery, fine wine, and music are all things for which they yearn.

Dont know how well that posted, but ah well

above mainly for humour.

A Fey most frightening to those with the imagination to believe in her, and the mortality to fear her, is Elle, also known as Old Age, One of three sisters...She is seen as an old crone with a hacking cough and little hair, whenever she is in a town or city many of the old die, and others feel older, and more tired, pain in their joints, until the hag is gone.

The elementals are even more aloof and inscrutable than the fae and are in fact disinterested in the affairs of Mortals provided that it does not threaten their continued existence.
The Elementals maintain a truce with the Fae even though there is some mixing as seen in the manifestation of elemental fae and the elemental traits sometimes seen in dwarf and other populations

The Twilight Promenade - A purpetual host of fae unaffiliated with any of the seasonal courts, these ghostly aparitions continously walk along the the border of the Midnight Wall on the side of Dreaming, single file, each holding a single candle to keep things of Nightmare from seaping into the rest of the realm. They hold back much, but their power is not limmitless and occasionally a thing of terror breaks their line. It is said that if a Jack were to join their line for even one night, the night of a new moon, the Midnight Wall would be made solid until the next new moon and nothing of Nightmare could affect the rest of the Fae realms or the dreams of mortals for that time, though it would cost the Jack one year of his life.

Dragons are an ancient joint construction of the elementals and the fae, given a will of their own. As part of the truce bewteeen the elemental and the fae, dragons are not allowed to enter the elemental realms or the fae lands, though they can draw upon the power of both.

Gormlochs court is a place of great decadence and debauchery. The spriggans comrades from his time as brigand and cut throat roam the palaces of the queen in exile and feast on her riches. Many of her once loyal followers yearn for her return in secret, but none dare to face Gromloch openly. The major domo Gahspayn is the leader of a small secret circle who have quietly contacted forces outside the court to search for the lost queen.

In the North, Far beyond the Strigheim Wall the race of giants known as the Jothun (Norse Jotun); have lived in exile banished by their Fey cousins of the south. In the Tales of the Days of Yore, the Scholar Shaphrax of Dullhallow wrote of an age when mortals, fought in great battles along side the the Children of the Faerie, against the Jothun. Their King is Baerlleod (ba-EHR hlee-ood), scarred by a wound he took in battle by one of the pregenitors of the human kind Finnir of the Sure Hand. He wears a patch over his eye, and for this his people call him Baerlleod the Cyclops.

Behind the Scenes.

In ages past Giants, and Fey worked hand in hand, giants built the great halls in Faerie, that housed the Seelie Court, they built the magical walls that kept the mortal kind out, when it came time to pay the giants for their work the price which they'd agreed to, that being the Hand of the the Fey Kings daughter, the fey refused the giants their pay. The War soon followed, and Baerlleod has never forgotten the slight.
