Combat Challenge- multiple targets

Maladrac

First Post
Everyone keeps talking about how great it is that a fighter can mark multiple targets (for example, if a Dragonborn fighter uses his breath weapon on a group of enemies) and use combat challenge, but isn't the attack granted by combat challenge an immediate interrupt, which means you can only use it once per round?

You only get the free attack once per round, but you can mark as many people as you want, forcing the enemies to attack you or face an effective 10% miss chance.

Plus it's that much more likely that one of the marked enemies will do something that will trigger your CC attack! It's not as easy as it may seem... And if the DM really wants to, he can play the enemies in a way that they never provoke an OA or CC.
