Some of the feats in the Complete Arcane allow you to cast spells. For example.

Communicator
You possess a magical understanding of the essence of language.
Benefit: An innate talent for magic grants you the following spell-like abilities as a 1st-level caster: 1/day - arcane mark, comprehend languages, message.

Does this mean you can cast ONE of the spells once per day or is it EACH spell once per day?

Yupp, I'd treat it the same way as an entry for a creature with spell-like abilities in i.e. the Monster Manual.

Neither, actually.

It means that once per day, you can generate an effect that operates like the spell arcane mark as if cast by a 1st level spellcaster. Also, once per day, you can generate an effect that operates like the spell comprehend languages as if cast by a 1st level spellcaster. Finally, once per day, you can also generate an effect that works like the spell message as if cast by a 1st level caster.

In no case does it give you the actual ability to cast spells (an important distinction for many Prestige Classes, and other "qualifying" situations).
