True enough. I retained that from the original Contemplative class.

Perhaps an alignment-dependent damage reduction might be in order?

If your patron deity is chaotic good, you gain damage reduction 10/lawful and cold iron or evil and cold iron.

If your patron deity is chaotic neutral, you gain damage reduction 10/lawful and cold iron.

If your patron deity is lawful good, you gain damage reduction 10/chaotic and silver or evil and silver

If your patron deity is lawful neutral, you gain damage reduction 10/chaotic and silver.

If your patron deity is neutral good, you gain damage reduction 5/evil and adamantine.*

If your patron deity is true neutral, you gain damage reduction 5/adamantine and (lawful and good, chaotic and good, lawful and evil, or chaotic and evil).*

*not sure about these two.
