Creatures By Poll - Monster #3's attributes

hi! you're in the middle of this creature creation process, but that's no reason you can't get in on it now! go here for more information on this creature.

at this stage, we are now developing just what this creature does. Take your pick from the above options, to determine just what the general nature of this creature is. i guess if one thing gets a whole lot of votes and another thing gets very few, it will be weak one area and strong in the other. but generally, whatever gets the most votes will be the dominant trait, while the others will lag behind.

Um - we're doing tha Trap Monster right?

Wasn't one of its defining traits the fact that it 'steals' attributes? - ie it builds itself according to the attributes it 'acquires' rather than having any innate attributes of its own.

It should probably have a few inate qualities regardless of its stolen attributes.

Intelligence and magic is taking the lead, with toughness coming in at third...

Either of the leading choices would be in line with it having conscious control over what kind of creature it chose to borrow characteristics from. I would imagine it would be too smart to think being as weak as an ant would be a good idea. It might think having antlike mandibles might be handy, though. Or after the initial probe attack, it might decide it doesn't want to be like the creature it sampled, and go back to being dormant.
